Dental Implants

Question:

how safe are dental implants in a diabetic patient? do they have to face any complication after the procedure or in near future? are they safe? what special care do diabetics have to take after the implants?

Answer:

For a controlled diabetic, there are no complications beyond what an average patient receiving surgery would have.  Regular check-ups and cleanings are important.

Uncontrolled diabetics should consult with their physician before any surgery.
