Having a cycle after 6 years

Question:

I haven`t had a period in over 6 years. All of a sudden these past 2 months, I have had a period which last a week long. It is not spotting it is a full period. Is this normal? And should I be concerned?

Answer:

You should call your doctor and let him/her know. The bleeding needs to be further investigated.
