Fat attenuating lesion10/09/2008 10:08PM |
I have a 1.4 cm fat attenuating lesion on my right kidney, compatible with angiomyolipoma. Any thing I need to know on this?
This is a benign mass best treated by blocking the blood supply to the benign tumor. Surgery is NOT needed. Despite some of the articles this does not become cancer. It can cause pain however. Most major medical centers have cared for this type of mass.
