Hi I have a 5week old baby, who had a fantastic weight gain at the beginning but now hardly eats at all now and i am worried that he will be losing weight. All he seems to do is sleep through meal times....even though I try everything to wake him up he just falls asleep aafter a couple of fl ozs. last night he threw up his milk and then didnt want anything until 7 hours later and even then i had to keep waking him up....can you help.
While there are several reasons why your child's eating might change, it is worrisome at this young age (5 weeks). Please have your child checked by your pediatric healthcare professional as soon as possible.
