Inulin

Question:

Does the inulin or other isolated fibers found in yogurt, or other foods that do not normally contain fiber, have the same health benefits as the fiber from whole grains?

Answer:

The inulin added to yogurt and other foods has the same health benefits as the inulin in whole grains, but other fiber found in whole grains have other health benefits. So the total combination of fiber present in whole grains gives the whole grains the edge.
