My ideal weight range08/07/2008 02:54PM |
I have been losing weight, and I wanted to know if you could assist me in knowing my weight range for my height.
To check on the weight range for your height check out a BMI chart. BMI is Body Mass Index and is a measure of your body fatness based on your height and weight. The ideal BMI is 18.5 to 24.9. You can find a chart at http://www.consumer.gov/weightloss/bmi.htm. Find your height in the left column. Scan across until you find your weight. At the top of the column you will see your BMI. Your ideal weight range will be the weights listed for your height in the BMI columns between 19 and 24. If you want to know your BMI exactly fill in the information further down the page in the BMI Calculator.
