Mandibular tori06/06/2008 10:19AM |
hi im about 2 undergo a minor op next month 2remove a mandibular tori and was told that they maycome back, andthere is a possibility thatthere ouldb sum lingual numbness is this right pls advise thanx
The risk of numbness due to ligual nerve injury is very low with the removal of mandibular tori. However, I cannot quantify the risk without an exam.
Mandibular lingual tori do not grow back once removed.
