Does erotic breast play have health benefits?

06/30/2004 09:12PM

Question:

My husband and I are into erotic breast play. He regularly fondles my breasts vehemently and sqeezes them hard. He pinches, pulls and twists my large nipples whenever I`m about to come during an intercourse, which I love. There are times he also applies fairly tight clamping devices on my nipples and yank them off after a duration of several minutes. One of our Oriental friends told us about some practice in Japan where women, including some teen girls with newly developed breasts undergo very similiar play rituals to have their boobs so stimulated for the purpose of "better breast health" later in life. Does breast stimulation enhance breast health in any way?

Answer:

There is no medical evidence to support this hypothesis. Erotic breast play does not increase or decrease the risk of future breast cancer.
