what kind of exercises are good for the winter?
I`m not quite sure of your specific question so I`m going to guess that you`re asking what alternative programs are there given weather constraints. Cold weather changes your outside workouts in that you need to layer clothing more to retain body warmth. The layer next to the skin ideally should be of a material that wicks the sweat away from skin. Cotton t-shirts are not the best option as they tend to absorb too much of your sweat and become very saturated. The use of a hat or scarf also helps to retain heat. Alternative cardiovascular workouts indoors usually utilize stationary bicycles, elliptical machines, nordic tracks, stairmasters, treadmills, or pool workouts. Typically, you can try to reproduce your running workouts by performing similar programs on one of these machines. Varying different machines tends to keep exercise more fun and keeps you going throughout the winter season. Hopefully, this helps you out and respond back if this isn`t the specific question you had in mind.
