Women's Health Center

  Throughout her life, a woman's body is changing and developing.

Health care for women includes the entire spectrum of a woman's life, not just pregnancy and childbirth. This means that mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and political, as well as physical aspects of women's lives, are part of women’s health. We are also concerned about health for all women, and in all places where women live and work.

At each stage of a woman's life, there are important preventive health care steps to follow in order to provide early detection of medical problems, or to prevent them entirely. To maintain general good health:

  • Exercise daily.
  • Eat a healthy, balanced diet, low in saturated fats.
  • Have at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day.
