October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In our feature, you can find answers from our experts, ask a new question, learn about our Breast Cancer experts, and read more about Breast Cancer
Nancy Elder, MD, G. James Short, PhD, and Charles Webster, MD have all joined NetWellness as experts, reactivating two Ask an Expert topics. Drs. Elder and Short are answering questions in the Anxiety and Stress Disorders (Adult) questions area. Dr. Webster is answering questions in the Sports Medicine area of NetWellness. They are all members of the Department of Family Medicine at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine.
We have started integrating the content from Health Illustrated Encyclopedia into the NetWellness Health Topics. Kidney Diseases and Alzheimer’s disease are the latest topics to have the Health Illustrated Encyclopedia content added. More will be integrated in the coming months. Don’t forget, the Health Illustrated Encyclopedia is available in its entirety – all 10,000 web pages – at /ency/index/diseidxa.htm

New Documents Article - Kidney Pain
Dr. Phillip Hall, 3rd, MD, Professor of Medicine Emeritus, from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, has written a new article titled "Kidney Pain". Learn all about kidney infection (pyelonephritis) and kidney stones (nephrolithiasis).
You may have noticed something different when you Ask an Expert a question. You now have the option to enter your email address and receive an email notification – with a link directly to your question and the expert’s response – when the response is posted. It’s strictly optional, and of course is completely private. We do not use email addresses for any other purpose. In fact, we delete all such email addresses from our system as soon as notifications are sent. See our Privacy Policy.
Tired of using several sheets of paper to print a single sheet of text? NetWellness is now in the process of has added a printer friendly option to all our content pages. Look for the printer icon at the top of the page to access use this new feature.
